Im dating this post March 1st because March is when the communications all started to happen and my life turned taking a whole new route on March 11th one of my moms Crystal Harris had been speaking to Chuck on my behalf and now Jane Vogel tells her that they have found a doctor that wants to help me. Over the next few months communications continue and I am connected with Dr. Antonis P. Stylianou, Ph.D current Director, Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Research Laboratory at UMKC.
I am told, if he can, he will not only make me a leg but a hoof and that he doesn't think I should have to wait until I am full grown, he wants to help me now, so I can grow with my prosthetics and not have deterioration of muscles and bones in the meantime. He also says that if I wear them out or when I'm full grown and out grow them, he will make me new ones. I am going to walk on my own again!
