I'm two weeks old August 11, 2015. I'm a happy, hoppy, frolicking baby goat and my life turns a whole new direction on this day. I'm starting this blog to share my story. This day is hard for all of us to look back on but its the beginning of my struggles and my successes. In the early morning I was sleeping out by the fence and a wild coyote grabbed my hind leg and tried to pull me through the fence. My Mama saved my life. She got me away from the fence and did what any good mom could. She cleaned me up and comforted me until she was able to get help of my human moms. Mama Jenn, Sarah and Dani did the best they knew also and I was taken to my vet Dr. Dean Kolich immediately. The conclusion made was that there was no chance for saving my leg. At this point, since goats are prone to stress and do not handle it well, I should of already lost my life. But I didn't cry or even frown. My moms comforted me and I knew everything was going to be ok. Surgery was scheduled for the next morning. If I made it through the night it was thought I could make it though the surgery. Obviously by reading this, you see, I am still here.
My name is Mimosa and I am a goaty goat goat that can do anything!
